Edupoli is a high quality development centre of skills and competencies for adult learners and organizations offering education, information, guidance and development services for the working life.

Edupoli organizes versatile and practical education. Adult learners obtain a variety of competence-based qualifications in different fields. Tailor-made educational services are offered to business companies and non-profit organizations.

Vocational adult education  

Edupoli provides a variety of educational opportunities for adults. The studies are connected with the working life and labour market. Edupoli organizes training courses that lead to competence-based qualifications as well as further and supplementary training that improves and enhances the learner’s professional skills.  

Learning needs are the starting point for studies

In adult education the learners’ present skills and competencies as well as their work experience are utilized as efficiently as possible. That forms the basis for each learner’s personal learning path. It expedites studying and speeds up obtaining a competence-based qualification.

Personalized obtaining of qualifications  

 At Edupoli, the learner can obtain vocational upper secondary qualifications, further vocational qualifications, and specialist vocational qualifications. The learner obtains a qualification and acquires the required competencies according to a personal qualification plan. However, obtaining a competence-based qualification is not dependent on how the competence has been acquired. A person can participate in a competence test without any preparatory training and receive a certificate.

Innovative learning methods

As well as the traditional classroom environment Edupoli offers a variety of other options, these include practise enterprises and a training process plant.  E-learning makes studying even more flexible.

Edupoli offers recruiting and competence development services to business companies and non-profit organizations. These services are tailor-made to accommodate the company’s goals and needs.    

International and multicultural Edupoli    

Edupoli is active in international pursuits. Its specialty is Russia expertise which is based on long-term cooperation in different projects in Russia and on intensive partnerships with Russian educational institutions and organizations. Edupoli also cooperates actively with educational institutions and education developing networks of other EU member countries.  

Harmonious multiculturalism is an essential everyday activity at Edupoli. Finnish language lessons, language tests and integration training are organized for immigrant students. Edupoli also offers cultural training courses, language courses and language tests for Finnish students.
